Dear Families,

We wanted to provide you with an important update regarding classroom and staffing changes here at Silverheights.

Each spring, we begin the process of staffing our schools for the new school year. This process ensures we have enough teachers and support staff for our schools and classrooms based on the number of students we expect to attend school in September.

At the start of every school year, our schools assess their classroom numbers based on the actual number of students attending school. Sometimes, it is necessary to reorganize and make changes to classroom assignments. Our enrollment at Silverheights has decreased significantly. This process requires us to make changes to classes and staffing.

As a result, we would like to inform you that your child may have a new teacher moving forward.  If your child has been assigned to a new class, a letter will be coming home Thursday Sept. 22 identifying his/her new teacher.

Our new class arrangements will begin on Monday Sept.26th.

We wish to acknowledge that this transition is challenging for our community. We are going to work very hard to ensure your child is supported. Should you have any questions or concerns prior to your child’s start date of September 26, please feel free to contact us.
