Silverheights will be holding a Vow of Silence on Friday, May 3rd to raise funds for building a school in Sierra Leone, Africa with Free the Children. The Vow of Silence encourages students to go the entire day without talking to show their support for children living in unjust conditions around the world. Participation stickers can be purchased 2 for $1 from homeroom teachers from April 24th – May 1st. Stickers will be delivered to students the day of the event to be worn on their clothing. If a teacher catches a student talking, they can collect one of their stickers. Any stickers left at the end of the day will go into a draw for some great prizes including movie gift cards, itunes cards, Beanie Boos, and Candy Baskets.
