The Canadian MedicAlert Foundation in partnership with the WRDSB offers free medical identification services for Silverheights students. The program is called the No Child Without program.
This is a program for students with Anaphylactic Allergies, Epilepsy, Hemophilia, Diabetes, Asthma or other serious medical conditions requiring potential emergency care. The program is open to students from age 4 to the student’s 14th birthday.
The school has a small number of brochures outlining the program and how to enrol in it, as well as a bar code and Pin number. This week we have sent copies home with students who according to our records would benefit from this program.
