Dear Parents/Guardians

You are cordially invited to attend the Dedication Ceremony for our new addition and creative playground at Silverheights Public School, 390 Scott Road, Cambridge, on Thursday May 22^nd from 5:00-7:30 p.m.

Silverheights School has a beautiful new addition and will soon have an amazing new creative playground.  Community support has been very instrumental in the success of both of these projects.   We are celebrating with a School Council hosted BBQ picnic and then a staff and student led Dedication Ceremony.

Silverheights is a growing school of 740 students and 76 staff.   We expect that we may have 2000 attendees for this event.  As a result, we are endeavouring to keep the event low key and free flow.  The Dedication Ceremony will be brief as the audience will be standing.  We have planned that the Dedication Ceremony will include some student entertainment and a few messages from the WRDSB and the community.

The flow of events will be:

5:00-6:00 pm- a family picnic style BBQ

6:00-6:20 pm- a dedication ceremony

6:30-7:30 pm- a free flow open house 

It will be a great community event.  We hope to see you there!
