This is a reminder that , this school year is the 25th anniversary of the opening of Silverheights School.  We are going to have a Silver Anniversary celebration Wednesday May 27th, 2015 from 6:00-8:00pm with a raindate of May 28th.

It will be a fantastic school community evening starting with a family picnic, when every family brings a picnic supper and blanket and finds a nice spot on the playground to eat. At 7:00 pm we will gather on the hillside near the portapak and hear a few words from community and WRDSB dignitaries. We will have some student presentations at that time as well. For the rest of the evening there is time for a free flow look around the school at presentations of information from community and school personnel. We will have the contents of the 1989-90 time capsule displayed in the front hall. We will also display the suggestions for the 2014-2015 time capsule.

If you have Silverheights  memorabilia that you would be willing to lend us for our displays, we would appreciate it. Please label it clearly with your name and contact information so we can return it to you after the event. It should be a wonderful evening!
