The YMCA Women’s group(who meet at the school every Thursday morning) want to thank the Silverheights community for the donations of yarn or knitted items for Syrian Refugees. A tremendous number of articles were collected as a result of your generosity. The Women’s group will continue to collect yarn or knitted articles of clothing, but they are working on a new project. They are learning how to make crocheted handbags. You are invited to join them at the school or at home in creating crotcheted handbags. There are many patterns and tutorials available on the internet, such as Youtube. They would also appreciate the donation of handicraft cotton yarn. Thank you!
