Dear Parent(s),

On Friday, March 31 at 3:40pm, Waterloo Regional Police placed our school in a Hold and Secure. A Hold and Secure means that the external doors of our school are locked and no one is permitted to enter or exit the school. Classes and activities inside the school continue as normal.

Police placed the school in a Hold and Secure as a result of a situation that was happening in our community. The hold was lifted once police were able to resolve the situation. At no time were our students and staff in any danger.

I would like to thank all of our students and staff for their cooperation on Friday and for the Waterloo Regional Police for keeping our school community safe.
