Parent/Guardian Survey

Supporting your Child’s Transition to School

As caregivers, you have a deep understanding of your child and the information you provide will help us to better meet your child’s needs. All children come to Kindergarten with diverse experiences and at different levels of development.

Information from this survey will be shared with your child’s educators and will serve to support your child’s transition to school.

Walking, Riding a Bus or Extended Day

• Extended Day
  • A before and after school program for students JK to Grade 2 that is complementary to the core kindergarten program and aligned with it in order to provide a seamless and consistent experience for children.
  • Must register for the program
  • Educators transition students to and from their Extended Day room
• Walkers:
  • 8:45 AM and 3:05 PM – Hand over hand transition to and from educators at “line up” area – Siblings are not allowed to drop off or pick up kindergarten students
  • No parking in the parking lot between 8:30 am and 8:45 am and 3:05 pm and 3:20 pm
  • Recommended Parking on Dawn Cres. or Poplar Dr.

  • Locations of the line ups will be communicated before the beginning of school. The following line up locations are what is in place for the 25/26 school year. As changes are possible, the line up locations are tentative.
